How a LoveBeat reading works
How a LoveBeat reading works: signals, not star signs. What we look at, what a result means, what it doesn't, and how your answers stay on your device.
Every calculator asks a short set of questions about things that have actually happened — what was said, what was done, how often, and when. Nothing asks how you feel about the answer, and nothing asks who anyone is.
What happens to your answers
They stay in the browser you are using. The reading is worked out on your device by code that arrived with the page. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server, and there is no account to create.
How a reading is put together
Your answers are grouped into the few things a question like this actually turns on — how contact happens, whether effort runs both ways, what has been said out loud, and so on. Each of those reads as present, absent, or not yet clear. The reading you see is the shape those readings make together, not a total of points.
That is why a reading says how broad the evidence is rather than how high a score is. Two strong answers and three blanks is a different situation from five middling ones, and a number would hide the difference.
Why there is no percentage
A percentage would claim a precision that nothing here has. Where a calculator shows a signal strength, it shows a range rather than a point, and the range widens when your answers were less certain. It is never a probability and never a prediction.
What a reading is not
It is not advice, not therapy, not a diagnosis, and not a statement about how another person feels. It is an interpretation of what you described. Some readings will land; some will not. A reading that says "there is not enough here to tell" is a real answer, not a failure.
When something more serious comes up
A few questions can surface fear, control or harm. When one of them does, the calculator stops reading signals and says so plainly instead. That is the only case where a reading is replaced, and it is never scored, never shared and never counted against anything else you answered.
